GCLs are widely used in decorative lakes, balancing ponds, wetlands, reed beds and industrial and  aeration lagoons. These products are also used in canal lining and river and stream diversions. Because they do not require specialised welding equipment or labour, GCLs can be installed with minimal instruction and supervision.

  • Used in place of compacted clay or geomembranes for ponds, lakes, lagoons, canals, irrigation schemes, wetlands and reedbed installations
  • Natural lining material
  • Ease of installation in less favourable weather and ground conditions
  • Self-sealing if punctured
  • No welding required
  • Good slope stability characteristics
